I've come a long way since baking and decorating my first cake in culinary school which is pictured to the left. Baking cakes, decorating desserts, and anything with sugar has been a passion and dream of mine for so long. I swear I think about baking 90% of the day. Whether it's new and creative techniques, or brainstorming design ideas, the wheels in my mind are always turning. It's hard for me to pick my favorite cake because I put a piece of my heart into each one. It's like having to pick a favorite child.

- I was born in Akron, Ohio and have lived here all of my life
- I'm married and he has become known as "Mr. Shananigans"
- I love a good chocolate chip cookie, they are my favorite
- I have a slight obsession with gnomes
- I can spot hawks all over the place
- I've always been creative and if I'm not in the kitchen, I'm most likely in my craft room working on a project
